Ah, lovely shamrock beads! Just like the ones St. Patrick used to chase the snakes off the Emerald Isle back in 1100-whatever. Yes, the St Patty's day vibe was palpable in Chicago today. And tomorrow the rivers will run green in this fair city with artificial coloring liquid, while the pubs will run black with spilled Guinness.
