Every year the Red Moon Theater holds an annual fundraising party, and the wealthy and chic flock to it for the elaborate decorations, the spontaneous "performances" by Red Moon actors, and inventive, interactive installations.
This year the event was called "Spectacle Lunatique," and had a sort of 18th century theatrical vibe, with actors dancing around in powdered wigs and clown costumes. As a Red Moon volunteer, I got to help out with some random tasks at the party, but mostly just got to hang out and enjoy the free food and booze. Here are some of the pretty amazing contraptions the theater created just for the event.
