Retro Delta
Today was the first time I can remember ever flying Delta to LaGuardia, and I ended up inside the beautiful Marine Air Terminal, a splendid blast from the past. It feels like you've flown from the 21st century into a regional airport from the 1930s. There's a Stalinesque statue of F. LaGuardia in this circular atrium, with art deco ornamentation, wraparound murals, and even an old-fashioned diner. it's worth taking Delta just to get a look at this. wear a bomber jacket and bring a hip flask to do it right
