Puppet Bike

I realized at the beginning of this week that there just wasn't going to be enough work to go around so I was contemplating a couple of options: stay in the office, read articles on Roger Federer and pretend to look busy OR realize my long-time ambition to start a badass photo blog (inspired primarily by the awesome site Paris Daily Photo), and have an excuse to sneak out of work early. Tough choice.
So around 2 p.m. today I set up a site on Blogger (took about 90 seconds), then headed out to explore. There was a lot going on in the South Loop at 3 p.m. considering the cold and light snow. I shot some cool guys drumming on paint cans outside Macy's. I shot some of the overbearing holiday cheer on Daley Plaza.
But the coolest thing I found in the area was Puppet Bike, the puppet show on wheels. These two girls were giggling their heads off as a pair of tiger puppets danced to some tinny Europop song (above). I noticed several grown-ups were enjoying the show standing off to the side; my guess is they felt TC to stand and watch from right in front of the stage!
