I was freezing my toes off on my way home from work, so I stopped to warm up inside the Thompson Building, a space-age looking government office structure in the South Loop. The interior looks a bit like the inside of the Death Star, with towering walls of glass everywhere, and security guards constantly marching to and fro. The thing that impressed me the most was the fancy-looking inside-out elevator system, so I took a couple of shots.
